The three cross-cutting streams will be woven throughout all elements of IMPAC5. Each of these streams will be embedded and expressed in all facets of the Congress, including the governance, planning and delivery of the hybrid in-person and virtual event. Congress participants, whether participating in-person or virtually, will experience these streams through all activities IMPAC5.
The Congress program, including the keynote addresses; panel sessions and presentations; and e-posters will reflect these streams in content, format and presentation. Participants will also experience the streams in many ways beyond the daily program. The streams will be infused in the celebration of ocean arts and culture, through culinary experiences during health breaks and other events, applying innovative technologies to expand the reach of IMPAC5, while simultaneously diminishing the carbon footprint, and as part of the overall objectives of IMPAC5.
